Health and Safety

The safety of its employees, as well as those of external companies working on its sites is a priority commitment for IFPEN.

A health and safety management system has been adopted by IFPEN based on OHSAS 18001 standards*.

This system is designed to ensure the health, well-being and safety of all personnel, via the implementation of strict and appropriate standards in the fields of both safety and security.

  • Prevention by the Occupational Health Department
  • Safety
  • Psychosocial risk management

* OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series: occupational health and safety management system): British occupational risk prevention standards. The objective is to provide support to companies for the assessment and certification of their occupational health and safety management system, compatible with international management system standards. This forms an integral component of the sustainable development strategy. The approach is based on continuous improvement and helps improve the efficiency of organizations and reduce risks and accidents.
